Trinity of Love
My love - Preet
The world asked me for duty,
for masks, for obedience, for survival.
I gave them all my body, but never my soul.
Only once did my heart awaken, only once did my spirit tremble with the fire of love.
That once was you.
Preet — the only one I loved in this world.
My joy was yours,
my pain was yours,
and my life will always carry
the trace of your name.
Not as illusion, not as compromise — but as the single flame that lit my being and burned it whole.
The Long Flight
He said,
“I will follow you anywhere. Across mountains, across oceans,
even on the longest flight.”
His voice was steady,
his love unquestioned.
He thought distance
was measured in miles and hours, in borders crossed,
in tickets and planes.
But I have already flown
where no vessel can go.
My heart has left the world of attachments, crossed the oceans of longing,
and risen beyond the vast lands
of illusion and duty.
He may follow my shadow, but not my soul.
For I dwell now only with God, and the only flight that matters is the one that carries the spirit into truth.
Crossing the Oceans
My heart has crossed the oceans, and walked the vast lands
of human entanglement and attachment.
I have seen how they glitter, how they promise eternity, yet dissolve into illusion.
No longer do I cling to what was never meant to hold the soul.
I am free now, anchored only in God, where love is not barter, but being.
