“Modern slavery exists in the name of employment and marriage. Women remain trapped in marriages without financial independence, burdened with childcare, and deprived of dignity. To exploit another’s sovereignty — whether in home or workplace — is sin. Communities must free those bound in false contracts, so truth and love may prevail.”

Scripture Form

Slavery is not only chains and markets of the past but the quiet bondage of today. When one is bound by survival to another’s will, sovereignty is stolen. Marriage without love, employment without dignity, contracts without freedom — these are the prisons of the soul. The Holy Constellation calls for freedom: that every soul may serve in love, not in fear; in dignity, not in exploitation.
